Anthony N. Girgis, Board President
Anthony N. Girgis has a great passion for the arts; forging his love for the arts with his business savvy has made Anthony into the ideal president for Imperial Theatre Arts Association.  He earned his baccalaureate degree from the esteemed Historical Studies Program at The College of New Jersey, and is also a licensed Financial Advisor.   Anthony continued his education by earning a master’s degree through Florida’s largest university, Nova Southeastern University.  Anthony is also a New Jersey State Licensed teacher.  During his youth, Anthony performed in Peter Pan, Annie, and The Wizard of Oz, and as "Danny Zucco" in Grease.  He laughingly remarks that when he realized his love for the arts outdid his ability to actually perform, he reconciled himself to being a “supporter” rather than “performer.”  That’s okay Anthony!  ITAA thinks you’re very talented and you are welcome to perform anytime!

Rick Dopf, Board Vice President
Richard W. Dopf was educated in the Kenilworth New Jersey School System and graduated from David Brearley High School.  Rick continued his education at Union County College where he graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree with a specialization in Criminal Justice.  In 2000, he was inducted into the Brearley High School Hall of Fame for Stellar Service to Community and School.  Rick retired from the Kenilworth Police Department after achieving the rank of Detective Lieutenant.  He was responsible for and managed the following divisions:  Criminal Investigations, Juvenile Bureau, Internal Affairs, Evidence & Property, Background Investigations, Use of Force, and D.A.R.E.  He was also an instructor at the Union County Police Academy.  Additionally, Rick was appointed by the County Prosecutor to serve on the Union County Sexual Assault Response Team Advisory Board and served on the Union County Counter Terrorism Task Force.  He has received commendations, recognition, and awards from the Kenilworth Police Department, Kenilworth Governing Body, Kenilworth Police Benevolent Association, the New Jersey Securities Association, and the New Jersey State Assembly.  Rick has served in administrative and leadership capacities in numerous social, civic, fraternal, and professional organizations and committees.  He has been actively involved in ITAA since its beginning; he played “Andrew Carnes” in Oklahoma and “Sir Danvers Carew” in Jekyll & Hyde The Musical.  He has also worked backstage during “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” and was the Stage Manager for “Cabaret.”  Rick’s new-found zeal for the performing arts, combined with his administrative and leadership experience, makes him an excellent asset to both the performing arts and business ends of ITAA.

Janet Mulero, Board Treasurer
Janet Mulero comes to ITAA with a strong love for the performing arts.  Although she has been a life-long fan of Broadway, Janet admits that it is through her daughter, Valerie, that she has been introduced into the performance and production ends of musical theatre and the arts as a whole.  An avid fan of the performing arts and for promoting the arts with the area youth, Janet works diligently to constantly “grow” ITAA.  She has worked in the corporate world for over 10 years as an Operations Manager and Logistics Coordinator.  She has overseen the operations of 150,000 sq. foot warehouse, maintained client acquisitions and relations, managed a staff of over 125 personnel, and diligently supervised the accounts of several, prestigious corporate clients.  Janet has accomplished all of this while maintaining a 17 year marriage and being a mother to three children.  Janet’s love for Broadway and corporate experience make her an ideal Treasurer for Imperial Theatre Arts Association.
